How Knock Out MS began

"I was diagnosed with MS in 2017. That experience is what led me to start Knock Out MS Foundation in 2020, after seeing a real gap in how the MS community was being supported. So much of the MS nonprofit world is focused on research (critically important work) but it doesn't help someone today who needs a wheelchair ramp, or can't afford the stair lift that would let them stay safely in the home they love. I wanted to build something that met people where they actually are: providing assistive equipment and financial assistance that restores independence and dignity in day-to-day life, right now."
