What is Multiple Sclerosis?

Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological disease that affects the central nervous system, causing the body's immune system to attack myelin, a sheath that protects the nerves. While the cause is unknown, it not only affects the body as a whole, but can target the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. This causes a wide variety of symptoms including pain, fatigue, muscle weakness, cognitive and mobility issues, and many more.

Inaugural Knock Out MS Gala

The Inaugural Knock Out MS Gala was held on August 21, 2021. Over 250 guests enjoyed dinner, drinks, a silent auction, & live music provided by the Carbon Copy Band! With the support of our 24 sponsors, it was a successful night of raising awareness & funds to help those living with Multiple Sclerosis in the Baton Rouge area. We cannot wait until next year!
