Our Purpose

At the Knock Out MS Foundation, we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to help people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological disease involving the central nervous system where the immune system attacks myelin, which is the protective covering of the nerves. This causes miscommunication between the brain and the rest of the body. Just a few of the many symptoms are vision problems, muscle weakness, pain, fatigue, cognitive and mobility issues. We believe in taking action in order to raise public awareness of this debilitating disease. We prioritize our fundraising efforts to help people living in and around the Baton Rouge area that have been diagnosed with MS. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in improving the lives of those living with Multiple Sclerosis and working toward a cure.

Christina Carville

Founder & President

When Christina was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2017, she made a promise to her children. She promised that she would work every day to not only fight for a cure, but also to help create a platform for those living with MS. She has worked closely with the National MS Society for years, helping with fundraising and advocacy. In addition to working with them, she wanted to specifically increase awareness and help improve the quality of life for people affected by MS locally. That is how the Knock Out MS Foundation was born. You can hear her story below!
